Application software for the RS4000 Series is based on a previous generation of Omron POS systems and has been installed in thousands of independent as well as chain Retailer's.  Besides Specialty and Variety stores, the RS4000 Series application software has been installed in a diversity of scanning applications including Liquor stores, C-Stores and Superettes/Specialty Grocery.

The RS4000 Series family consists of the model RS4310 and model RS4810 which accommodates the varied requirements in the retail market.

The RS4810 model features a Flash ROM, providing  the ability to load application software electronically without physical replacement of the EPROM.  The Flash ROM feature is ideal for chain store environments with multiple locations.
